**This is a follow up from my first guest blog with Black Girl in the CLE on how Black Girls Get Mentally Fit**
Can you believe it? 2018 is almost over! It seems like the months are just flying by- and they truly are. With the Fall/Winter season approaching it is the perfect opportunity to conduct a self assessment. For some the early dark evenings and dark mornings can feel a bit daunting.
Every 90 days I hold myself accountable to assess and reassess goals when necessary. Be mindful not to use this time to beat yourself down on things you having accomplished- yet. Things manifest in due time as long as there’s effort and consistency involved.
As always, grabbing a pen and a designated notepad will make this a breeze.
Here are a few things to think about:
What have been your big wins this year
Try not to overthink this one. Refer to Appreciate Your Small Goals.
Is there a goal that you set earlier this year that you are still struggling with?
If so consider changes you can make to achieve a better outcome in the future. How can you utilize your resources to fulfill this goal?
Have you tried something new this year?
Examples: tried a different food, applied for a new position, attended a new event, changed your hair, etc. What was it and how did it make you feel? What is something you’d like to do that you haven’t before?
* This will help you explore out of that comfort zone.*
Financially are you on track of meeting your goals (whatever they may be)?
A few of my favorite resources are:
* The Finance Bar
* Clever Girl Finance
* Empify

How can I use the next 90 days to start a transformation in my life? What kind of mindset do I want to have?
Remember you do not have to have all the details, just write what is on your mind.
What are some habits I can practice NOW to take my life to the next level?
If you are a person who struggles with managing time, sign up to receive 7 Days of Success to jump start proper organization habits.
What are my current priorities? What can be placed on hold until a later date?
Sometimes we prioritize things that really isn’t worth the stress. Breathe.
What am I doing now to ensure I have inner peace and happiness?
Some of my favs from the Black Girl in the CLE article are journaling, taking social media breaks, blocking schedule for personal time.
